Celtics And Pelicans Injury Reports


The Boston Celtics and New Orleans Pelicans have updated their injury reports as of 3:30 Eastern Time

On Friday evening, the Boston Celtics and New Orleans Pelicans are facing off in Louisiana.

Both teams have updated their injury reports as of 3:30 Eastern Time for the game.

The Celtics have ruled out Robert Williams, Marcus Smart, JD Davison, Danilo Gallinari and Mfiondu Kabengele.

Meanwhile, Malcolm Brogdon has been upgraded to available.

The Pelicans have ruled out Kira Lewis Jr., E.J. Liddell and Dereon Seabron .

Zion Williamson is listed as questionable. 

The Celtics enter the night as the hottest team in the NBA.  

They are 12-3 in their first 15 games and in the middle of an eight-game winning streak. 

This will be the second straight game that they have played without Smart, who was the 2022 Defensive Player of The Year.   

In their most recent game, they beat the Atlanta Hawks in Georgia at State Farm Arena by a score of 126-101.

Seven players scored in double-digits, and six of them had 15+ points. 

Early on in the season, they have shown why they are arguably the deepest team in the league. 

As for the Pelicans, Williamson has missed two straight games, but they come into the night with a 9-6 record in their first 15 games. 

They are tied with Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies for the fifth seed in the Western Conference. 

Right now, they are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and 5-2 in the seven games that they have played at home in Louisiana (the Celtics are 6-2 in eight games on the road).
