Game Preview: Kings vs Pelicans

The Sacramento Kings head to New Orleans for a key Western Conference matchup on Sunday, Feb. 5. The Kings have won two of their last three games. The Pelicans’ 10 game losing streak has been snapped after beating the Lakers on Sunday night. These two teams will tip off at 7 P.M. EST.

In their latest game, New Orleans deafened the Lakers 131-126. The two teams bounced back and forth before CJ McCollum nailed a 3-pointer in the final two minutes to take the lead and eventual win for the Pelicans. New Orleans shot 52% from the field and 30% from behind the 3-point line.

In the win, New Orleans’ Brandon Ingram scored 35 points to lead the team. He went 15-for-28 from the field. McCollum scored 23 points in the victory. He is leading the team in scoring with 21.2 points per game.

The Pelicans will be without Jonas Valanciunas, Dyson Daniels and Zion Williamson on Sunday.
