Injury Report: Raptors vs Pacers
The Toronto Raptors have added Gary Trent Jr. and Precious Achiuwa to the injury report ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Indiana Pacers.
Trent is battling right elbow soreness while Achiuwa is dealing with right hamstring tightness, the team announced Wednesday afternoon. Both players are listed as questionable to play against the Pacers.
They join the injury report alongside Scottie Barnes who remains questionable with a left wrist injury. X-rays and MRIs on the wrist have both come back negative for any damage. Expect further information on the injury around 5:45 p.m. ET when Raptors coach Nick Nurse speaks to the media.
It appeared as though Trent and Achiuwa both participated in practice Thursday morning with the team and neither player was injured on Sunday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Trent had been expected to slide into the starting rotation if Barnes remains sidelined. If all three players miss Wednesday’s game, it’s unclear who the Raptors will start. Expect Will Barton and Jeff Dowtin Jr. to see some playing time. Malachi Flynn could also work his way into the mix.
The Pacers have listed Tyrese Haliburton and Chris Duarte as questionable to play.
Toronto has already ruled out Otto Porter Jr. and Dalano Banton.
