Game Prediction: New York Knicks vs Miami Heat

Knicks had no answers on Saturday afternoon as they got pummeled by the Miami Heat 105-86 to fall behind 2-1 in the best of seven series. The Knicks will try to get even on Monday night when they play game 4 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. EDT.
Knicks have no answers
The Knicks had no answers from the get-go on Saturday afternoon as the Heat steamrolled to an easy 105-86 win. The Knicks fell behind big early and they never recovered. Shooting 34% from the floor will have a way of doing that. Jalen Brunson had 20 points but only shot 7 of 20 from the floor, while dishing out 8 assists.
No one was good in this game as Julius Randle had 10 points on 4 of 15 shooting with 14 rebounds while Josh Hart had 15 points and RJ Barrett added 14 points. “I thought defensively, we were solid, but I thought offensively we didn’t play the way we wanted to,” Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said, reported the New York Post. “And I don’t put it on any one player, because I think it’s done collectively. “You have to create space first and then create rhythm. And everyone shares in that responsibility. That’s really what we have to do. And then you gotta make some shots, and we didn’t do that.”
Heat lay the smack down
This game was over early as the Miami Heat jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as they cruised to an easy 105-86 win in game 3. The Heat now lead 2-1 in their best of seven series. The Heat only shot 39% but they held the Knicks to 34% shooting and they made 28-31 free throws. The Knicks were just 16 of 22 from the stripe.
Jimmy Butler did his thing with 28 points while Max Strus had 19 points. Bam Adebayo chipped in with 17 points and 12 rebounds while Kyle Lowry added 14 points off the bench. “You’ve got to win games different ways,” Lowry said, reported NBC Miami. “In the playoffs, like I’ve said many a time and for many years now, every game is seriously different. And this is one of those games where we held them down. … To win by half a point, one point, two points, 20 points, it’s about winning the game however it happens.”
