Injury Report: Golden State Warriors vs Detroit Pistons
One game at a time, the Golden State Warriors are trying to prove they’re a much better team than last season. That mentality starts from the top, and already, the Warriors veterans are already accomplishing that goal by being available.
As Steve Kerr mentioned postgame on Monday, Golden State’s plan was to have all of their veterans available for both halves of the back-to-back set that ends in Detroit on Monday, and that’s looking like it will be the case. The Warriors have released their injury report for Monday night, and Draymond Green is the only player listed. Green’s status is questionable due to left ankle soreness.
For the Pistons, they will be without Bojan Bogdanovic, Joe Harris, Isaiah Livers, and Monte Morris. Alec Burks is doubtful, and Jaden Ivey is questionable.
After dropping their first road game of the season, this is an opportunity for the Warriors to get right back in the win column. While back-to-backs are not something most players enjoy, they can be beneficial for teams looking to quickly bounce back from a loss, which is what the Warriors will look to do in this one.
With at least most of their roster available, the Warriors are waiting on the final status of Draymond Green, who is questionable with ankle soreness.
