RJ Barrett’s Current Status For Knicks-Wizards Game
On Friday evening, the New York Knicks will be on the road to face off against the Washington Wizards.
For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as RJ Barrett is on the injury report.
Barrett has missed each of the previous two games, so this would be his third straight out of the lineup (if he doesn’t play).
Barrett has played in seven games so far this season and is averaging 22.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists per contest while shooting 48.7% from the field and 50.0% from the three-point range.
The Knicks are 6-5 in their first 11 games and most recently defeated the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 116-114 on the road in Georgia.
Julius Randle led the team with 29 points, ten rebounds and eight assists.
This is Barrett’s fifth season in the NBA, and he is coming off a year where he averaged 19.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest while shooting 43.4% from the field.
Following the Wizards, the Knicks will play their next game against the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina on Saturday evening.
As for the Wizards, they are 2-9 in their first 11 games and in the middle of a four-game losing streak.
Most recently, they lost to the Dallas Mavericks by a score of 130-117 (at home) on Wednesday.
After the Knicks, they will play their next game against the Milwaukee Bucks (at home) on Monday.
