Raptors Injury Update vs Orlando Magic
OG Anunoby and the Toronto Raptors don’t have a ton of time to bask in the glow of their 142-point barrage at the expense of the Detroit Pistons, as they need to turn around and face off with Paolo Banchero and an Orlando Magic team hellbent on winning the In-Season Tournament.
The Magic appear to be putting it all together after years of tanking, as Banchero continues to evolve into a star and Orlando has the second-best defense in basketball in terms of defensive rating. Points might be very hard to come by for Toronto’s offense in this one.
If the offense is able to stay hot, Toronto may have a good shot going on the road, beating an ascending team that already has a few signature wins early in the season and staying alive in their pursuit of in-season glory.
OG Anunoby Injury Status for tonight’s Raptors vs. Magic game
After returning against the Pistons following his finger laceration, all signs point to Anunoby once again suiting up for the squad in this game. Toronto will need his shot to be on point in this game, as they are playing a very long, aggressive team that loves to pack the paint.
Wendell Carter Jr. Injury Status for tonight’s Raptors vs. Magic game
Carter, who has experienced a career rebirth as an anchor for one of the best defensive teams in the league, is scheduled to miss this game due to a finger ailment. Without Carter, Goga Bitadze will likely move into the starting center role opposite Toronto’s Jakob Poeltl.
