Jazz vs Raptors Injury Report

The Utah Jazz will look to string consecutive wins together when they play the Toronto Raptors at the Scotiabank Arena. The Jazz will be missing a key contributor heading into the contest.

Jazz starting point guard Keyonte George will miss his sixth straight game with a foot injury, while Jordan Clarkson (hamstring) and Talen Horton-Tucker (foot) head into the contest as questionable.

Also, Lauri Markkanen will play after missing Utah’s last game against the Detroit Pistons. As for the Raptors, backup center Christian Koloko missed Friday night’s game due to an illness.

The question on Jazz fans’ minds is what will the starting lineup look like if Clarkson is ready to go. The former Sixth Man of the Year has been a starter since head coach Will Hardy took over last season, but Collin Sexton may have strong-armed his way as the starting shooting guard in Clarksons‘ absence.

Sexton has averaged 24.5 points a game over the six-game span as a starter and Utah is 4-2 since the starting lineup change.

Just like last season, it’s not clear which direction Utah is headed. At times, it’s appeared that the Jazz are in full tank mode, but they’re winning enough games to keep them out of the bottom five.

If the season were to end today, the Jazz would have the seventh-best odds of landing the top pick. This would give them an 18.2% chance of getting a top-two pick.
