Warriors vs Heat Injury Report

Jimmy Butler Injury Update Before Heat-Warriors Game

On Thursday evening, the Miami Heat will be in San Francisco to face off against the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center.

Jimmy Butler has missed each of the previous three games, but Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald reported a significant update (on Wednesday).

Via Chiang: “Jimmy Butler and Josh Richardson were partial participants in practice today.

Caleb Martin did not practice.

Haywood Highsmith was a full participant.

Everybody expected to travel to San Francisco today, except Dru Smith.”

Since Butler was able to be a participant in some of Wednesday’s practice and will travel with the team, there is a good chance he could return to the lineup against the Warriors.

The Heat have officially listed the six-time NBA All-Star as questionable.

Heat:

  • Jimmy Butler – Questionable – Left Calf Strain
  • Kyle Lowry – Questionable – Soreness
  • Caleb Martin – Doubtful – Right Ankle Sprain
  • Josh Richardson – Doubtful – Lower Back Discomfort
  • Duncan Robinson – Questionable – Left Ankle Sprain

Warriors:

  • Gary Payton II – Out – Calf
  • Draymond Green – Out – Suspension
  • Andrew Wiggins – Questionable – Illness
