Zion Williamson Made An Unbelievable Shot In Pelicans-Celtics Game
On Monday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans faced off against the Boston Celtics in Massachusetts.
The game was close, but the Celtics were able to win by a score of 118-112 (they won the fourth quarter by 12 points).
Despite the loss, Zion Williamson had a good game and put up 26 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals while shooting 11/18 from the field in 31 minutes of playing time.
He also had an unbelievable highlight.
The former Duke superstar drove to the basket and pulled off a miraculous layup as he fell to the ground.
With the loss, the Pelicans fell to 26-21 in their first 47 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
They are 4-6 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game losing streak.
Following the Celtics, the Pelicans will travel to Texas to face off against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday evening.
On the road, they are 12-11 in 23 games away from New Orleans.
Williamson is now averaging 22.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 59.0% from the field and 36.4% from the three-point range in 38 games.
