Latest Injury Status on Kelly Oubre Jr. vs Pelicans

The Philadelphia 76ers will travel to the bayou to take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday to begin a quick two-game road trip. The Sixers have won two games in a row and they will be looking to build on that and conjure up another lengthy winning streak.

In order to do that, they will need to continue to rely on others to step in and produce with the team a bit short-handed. The Sixers will be missing three key wing players in their rotation.

Kelly Oubre Jr., continuing to recover from a rib fracture, will travel with the Sixers on this two-game trip. However, he is still listed as out for the matchup with the Pelicans.

Joining Oubre Jr. on the sidelines will be Danuel House Jr. and Jaden Springer who will each miss their third consecutive game. House Jr. is dealing with a left quad contusion and Springer is dealing with an illness.

Coach Nick Nurse did leave the door open for a potential return for Oubre Jr. when the Sixers take on the Boston Celtics on Friday to complete their road trip. However, he still has to overcome some physical obstacles in order to get back on the floor.
