Hawks vs Raptors: Injury Report
The Toronto Raptors may once again face a shorthanded Atlanta Hawks team that could be without De’Andre Hunter on Friday night
The Atlanta Hawks may be down a couple of starters again Friday night when they take on the Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena.
Atlanta has again listed De’Andre Hunter as questionable to play with right knee soreness, the team announced. He missed Wednesday’s game with the injury as well.
The Hawks have already ruled out Jalen Johnson who continues to battle a left distal radius fracture in his knee. He’d been one of Atlanta’s two starting forwards alongside Hunter earlier this season before suffering the injury.
Rookie first-round pick Kobe Bufkin (left thumb fracture) and sophomore first-round pick AJ Griffin (personal reasons) have both been ruled out alongside Mouhamed Gueye who is tending to a stress fracture in his lower back.
Atlanta turned to Saddiq Bey and Wesley Matthews to start against Toronto on Wednesday, though Bogdan Bogdanović played far more than Matthews as a guard off the bench for the Hawks.
