Injury Report: Kings vs Magic
The Orlando Magic taking on the Sacramento Kings in the cross-conference showdown at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.
The Sacramento Kings (20-18; 20-18 ATS) opened a five-game homestand last Wednesday, suffering a 120-117 defeat to the Atlanta Hawks. Three days later, the Kings dropped their second straight game, losing to the Los Angeles Lakers 136-134. It was a tremendous battle at Golden 1 Center, as neither team led by double digits, and the Lakers clinched the victory at the foul line with 3.6 seconds left on the clock.
De’Aaron Fox had 34 points (11-21 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 12-14 FT), two rebounds, and nine assists in 38 minutes against the Lakers on Saturday.
Fox did everything he could to win, and he even had a chance to be the hero with a half-court shot at the buzzer that nearly went in to win the game.
The guard remains one of the league’s most productive guards, and despite posting single-digit assist totals in four straight games, he’s scored 30-plus points in three of his last six games.
There have been no reports of injuries to the Kings.
The Orlando Magic (15-25; 21-16-3 ATS) started a five-game road trip last Saturday, defeating the Golden State Warriors 115-101.
Injury reports: Jonathan Isaac (Knee) and Bol Bol (Covid-19)
Though head coach Jamahl Mosley confirmed last week that Isaac has resumed full participation in practice, the Magic have yet to provide a timetable for when the 25-year-old will play in his first game since the 2019-20 season.
It’s unclear whether Isaac joined the Magic on their current five-game road trip, which began Saturday at Golden State, leaving the forward’s status uncertain for the team’s remaining three games this week. Given his lengthy absence from competition, Isaac will almost certainly be limited to limited playing time when he returns to the field this season.
