Injury Report: Kings vs Rockets
The Sacramento Kings (22-18; 22-18 ATS) will wrap up a five-game homestand on Friday. After a couple of narrow losses to the Atlanta Hawks 120-117 and Los Angeles Lakers 136-134, the Kings have trounced the Orlando Magic 136-111 and Houston Rockets 135-115.
According to Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee, Kevin Huerter’s status for Friday’s game against the Rockets is in question because he is battling an illness.
Huerter did not participate in Thursday’s practice due to an injury, and it is likely that the team will keep a close eye on his condition in the days leading up to Friday’s game. If Huerter is ruled out, there is a chance that Malik Monk and Terence Davis will see an increase in their playing time.
The Houston Rockets (10-31; 16-22-3 ATS) extended their losing streak to eight games last Wednesday.
Kevin Porter will not play for the Rockets again because of a left foot contusion he sustained after leaving the game early on Wednesday due to a collision with a teammate named Jae’Sean Tate. In Porter’s absence, Kenyon Martin and Jae’Sean Tate should both see an increase in the number of minutes they play. On Sunday, against the Clippers, Porter will have his next opportunity to make his return to game action.
