Injury Report: Trail Blazers vs Kings

The Portland Trail Blazers have five players with double-digit scoring averages this season. All five are expected to miss Wednesday’s game against the Kings, who only need one more win to clinch a playoff berth and homecourt advantage. The Kings will play a two-game set against the Blazers on Wednesday and Friday at Moda Center in Portland.

The Blazers have ruled out Damian Lillard (calf), Anfernee Simons (foot), Jerami Grant (quad) and Jusuf Nurkic (knee) for Wednesday’s game. Cam Reddish (lumbar) is listed as doubtful. The Kings (45-30) are third in the Western Conference, three games behind the No. 2 Memphis Grizzlies and five games ahead of the No. 4 Phoenix Suns. They can clinch their first playoff berth since 2006 and homecourt advantage with a win over the Blazers. They can also clinch a playoff bid with a Los Angeles Clippers loss to the Memphis Grizzlies or a Minnesota Timberwolves loss to the Phoenix Suns.

The Blazers (32-43) are on the brink of playoff elimination after losing nine of their last 10 games. They are 4 ½ games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks for the final play-in spot in the West. Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report and TNT reported Tuesday that the Blazers have made the decision to shut Lillard down for the rest of the season.

As for the Kings, OUT — Keon Ellis (G League); Neemias Queta (G League).
